What's the story behind "Gene the Marketing Machine"?

Growing up, my family used to joke that I was a "dancing machine" - despite my limited skills on the dance floor.

Years later, after over a decade in corporate paid media and a brief but enlightening stint at a NYC start-up, I was determined to use my skills to help others thrive with paid advertising.

When I launched Grow Together Marketing in the Spring of 2024, I realized that my "Gene The [x] Machine" nickname had come full circle and it was time to bring it back.

Having officially filed my Doing Business As (DBA) designation with the Commonwealth of Virginia, I began the slow unveil of Gene The Marketing Machine in October 2024 and haven't looked back.

Are those your real eyes?

No! I used Canva - a creative development tool - to make my eyes look robotic. They're meant to convey my "machine-like" qualities. Hope you like them!

Are you legitimate?

Yes. Despite the tongue and cheek nature of my brand, my services are very legitimate and my rates are affordable.
